Raku fired magpies

This is a large acrylic painting on canvas (70x90cm) that has been collecting dust behind the cupboard... I must have made it 12 or 13 years ago for my little daughter's room. Since she became a legal teenager and redesigned her room it's been put aside and forgotten. Found it today!

(OMG, writing this, I suddenly remembered one of the most cruel novels I have ever read in my life: The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosiński. Fortunately, this little bird is absolutely innocent:-))
