My set of eight oriental-style dinner plates, each one of different colour, is ready!

One of the things about ceramics that I like most is you can never be 100% sure what the final product will look like. Here I mixed orange and poppy-red glazes and got this painting-like beautiful effect on my plate and bowl. Plus these lovely autumn colors.

Four plates so far (in autumn attire)
I have made two new plates for my dinner set and I am serving autumn leaves on them:-) Turqoise and lime green glazes.

The first two plates for the new set of dinner plates. Each of them is going to be in a different color:-)

I think I have made enough mugs to have a proper mulled wine party! The blue one in front is a brand new one.

My favourite aquamarine colour on the three little bowls that look like three sisters, which made me think of The Three Sisters by Chekhov, something I read a long time but remember this quote (probably because it is about birds and flying):

“Not only after two or three centuries, but in a million years, life will still be as it was; life does not change, it remains for ever, following its own laws which do not concern us, or which, at any rate, you will never find out. Migrant birds, cranes for example, fly and fly, and whatever thoughts, high or low, enter their heads, they will still fly and not know why or where. They fly and will continue to fly, whatever philosophers come to life among them; they may philosophize as much as they like, only they will fly....”
